Extrusion Operator

General Summary: 

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for running an extrusion line, performing in-process inspections and assisting with final inspections on occasion.. Activities include product dial in, collection, inspection, packaging, document control, equipment breakdown and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Complete  PCD per the information pertaining to the run being collected
• Researches information relating to processes, materials or equipment as directed
• Assists the engineers in planning, problem solving and implementation
• Provide support to meet quality objectives as outlined in ISO 13485 and company policy / procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in plastic extrusion preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail
• Must be proficient with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must be able to work up to 40hrs per week
• Must be able to work with or without restrictions in a manufacturing environment

Reporting Relationships:

Position reports to: Extrusion Management 

Starting at $20/hr

Additional $1.5/hr upon completion of training and move to second shift.
